Help wanted:Interns

Interns_1The interns, they’re every bit as important to us right now as the big ticket positions. (And the pay, for now, is not as dissimilar as you might think!)

The full listing is in the continuation. Duby and Donte (pictured at right) and Caroline (not pictured and regrettably out sick — feel better soon!) can’t wait for you to join them!

Please respond by email.

Come join us on the ground floor of something new and
exciting!

Pegasus News, a
new, l
ocal news organization which will launch in Dallas within a few
months,
is seeking unpaid (for
now)
interns to assist with research tasks over the course of the summer or
longer.  This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, as well as for
recent college graduates seeking to get their feet in the door of a new media
organization
in editorial or advertising, and we are willing to give a lot of responsibility and assignments
to go-getters who want to gain a lot of valuable experience.

Candidates will have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading
skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel
and Access, is highly desirable. Having your own laptop with a wireless card is also a big plus.

We are looking for interns who could commit to a minimum of six
weeks, with a minimum of 20 hours per week in the office preferred (though if
you want to work longer, be our guest!).  Free parking is available, and our
office is walking distance from a DART station.  The work environment is very
casual.  Interested candidates should submit their resumes to us through
email.
