John Branston responds to my fisking (and Wilson’s illustration) of his column in support of newspapers:

Actually I’m listed in the phone book and my email is at the end of my column … which is signed. (I didn’t get yours). And I keep a six pack, not a pitcher of whatever that is, next to my desk. Pretty old school.

He is right that my name (Mike Orren, for the record) doesn’t appear on posts here, because I generally assume that all of our regular readers know who I am. That’ll all be fixed when we move over to our publishing system. Meantime, I’m hostage to the customized Typepad formatting…
